Judge Reinhart Orders Release Of Affidavit Related To FBI Search Of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago

| August 26, 2022

Judge Bruce Reinhart who serves as a Judge in Florida’s Southern District has given the people of the United States what they had been waiting for, let’s say quite a while!

The esteemed Judge has ordered the United States Department of Justice to release a censored copy of the affidavit that led to the search of the twenty-six-roomed estate, Mar-a-Lago.

The Magistrate Judge has ordered that the DOJ release the documents by Friday noon.

Department of Justice is known to have submitted a list of proposed censors to the sensitive documents recovered from Trump’s Billion dollar estate.

These proposed censors are known to be quite extensive in nature. The extent of information that will be available on the documents is thus not known.

The affidavit in question contains evidence that provided the United States Department of Justice with grounds to obtain a search warrant for the property. A search was later conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation into the Mar-a-Lago on the 8th of August, 2022.

A few sets of documents that have been retracted from Donald Trump’s Billion Dollar mansion had already been made public.

It has been held that once the information received is verified as the truth, there would be no harm in granting public access to the documents as it would pose little threat to the investigation.
