Trump In Trouble

Ever since the first raid conducted at Trump’s 126-roomed estate, more than 150 highly classified documents have been recovered by the Federal Bureau Of Investigation. The Department of Justice, later, after careful examination, launched its criminal investigation of Trump’s case.

A total of more than 300 documents have been retrieved all of which bear the classified tag. The documents were retrieved in multiple batches. The first one was in January; the second batch was retrieved from the search conducted in June. A search has also been initiated this month.

Much of the relevant information was derived from Trump’s associates, who were probed into by the FBI. Mr. Cohen and Mr. Giuliani, of them, served as Trump’s advocates and were questioned on the missing White House records.

Mr. Trump had earlier this week filed a lawsuit in a federal court seeking to block the Department of Justice from reviewing the classified documents any further till a special master was appointed for that purpose.

The documents retrieved in January could be inferred to be the reason behind DOJ’s hurried efforts to recover further information on the topic.

This issue has its inception in the year 2021 when Mr. Trump lost to the current POTUS, Mr. Biden. Trump had apparently been responsible for misplacing a sizable portion of the White House records, some of which are slowly being recovered from his estates.
